  • Short-term rentals are a significant source of income for many hosts. Naturally, earnings can differ greatly depending on factors such as location, local competition, number of bedrooms, home amenities, guest reviews, and seasonal patterns (especially in Vancouver). Feel free to reach out to us for a free estimate of your potential earnings.

  • We charge a fee of 10% of the nightly rate for creating and managing your listing across multiple booking sites including Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, Expedia and others. Please note that after the listing is created, this 'Listing + Booking' service plan covers online services only. This is the better option for hosts who prefer to handle guest communication, check-ins, and cleaning/laundry themselves.

    For our all-inclusive 'Co-Hosting' management plan, which includes guest communication, pre-screening, check-ins, cleaning/laundry and more, we charge a fee of 15% of the nightly rate.

    Our expertise lies in our skill at decorating and furnishing short-term rentals, dynamic pricing optimization, and exceptional guest services. These strategies help us earn great reviews, secure top search rankings, and significantly increase your earnings compared to the average host. By enhancing guest experience and optimizing your Airbnb listing, our service often pays for itself.

  • Because we value long-term partnerships and want to offer the best service possible, we don't charge any onboarding fees, and in fact cover many of the initial start-up costs*.

    (*provided that you sign on for a minimum 1-year contract term).

    Start-up costs covered by us:

    • (Optional) Design plan and master inventory list with a recommended budget; sourcing and purchasing, installation and decorating ($2250-3750, payable in instalments, or free of charge with a min. 1-year contract)

    • Installation of smart lock ($250, or free with a min. 1-year contract)

    • Professional listing photography ($250, or free with a min. 1-year contract)

    • Professional listing copywriting ($250, or free with a min. 1-year contract)

    Start-up costs covered by owners:

    • Providing funds for new furnishings and inventory items; to include, at minimum, new linens and towels, guest expendables such as shampoo, soap, dish soap and laundry detergent, and any other furnishings approved within the design plan.

    • Costs associated with special tradespeople, as required (i.e. painters, plumbers, electricians)

    • Smart lock system (approx. $350)

    • Adequate insurance coverage

    • Business license (if applicable)

    • Establishment of a reserve fund

  • If you wish to list your property on Airbnb for only a portion of the year, that's no problem! We are flexible and can accommodate any schedule or timeline. We will mark those specific dates on your booking calendar and coordinate with you when it's time to prepare it for guests once again. Similarly, if you desire to reserve your own property for personal stays or for someone else, we can easily do so, provided there are no conflicting bookings. We will reserve those dates for you and block them off in your centralized booking calendar.

  • Protecting your property from potential damage caused by guests is a valid concern for property owners and hosts. We address this concern by meticulously screening guests, ensuring they have verified identities and positive reviews from previous stays at other properties. Additionally, we make it a point to personally inquire and understand the travel plans of our guests. We take no risks when it comes to safeguarding your home. We also have guest liaisons available 24/7 to deal with emergencies and to mitigate any risks to your property.

  • It is a requirement that owners carry an adequate homeowners insurance policy to cover property damage, as well as 3rd party liability coverage. We partner with the only Vacation Rental Insurance company available - CertiStay. Their coverage costs less than $30 per month, and we coordinate with them to inspect your home upon sign-up.

    Airbnb further provides complete primary insurance for home damage, injury or theft for up to $1 million through their Host Guarantee Program. We carry insurance as a business for our employees through WorkSafe BC.

  • Yes, short term rentals in Vancouver are licensed and taxed by the city as of April 1st, 2018.
